After Visiting the Crazy Lady

The woman is pale. Her breath count is 15 per minute (about normal). The wounds are deep and will require significant grafting to heal. Approximately 60% of the surfaces you can see have these wounds. You expect about a 35% survival expectancy if you intervene right now with traditional medicine.
*If you were to use supernatural means you could increase that percentage to 95%, leaving 5% that the psychological trauma will lead her to take her own life when you are not able to intervene.

Henry approaches the woman sitting down and reading the book. (What book?)  

"Good evening Miss.  My name's Henry.  My mentor, Virag Kalman, has sent me to ask for help in researching a rune.  Would you be the powerful woman of occult knowledge my mentor spoke of?"

The woman will smile slightly, revealing a mouth full of jagged sharp fangs.

"I am Emery, How is that de'mode' fiend?"

Henry will smile.

"Most likely, not too different from the last time you met him."

He will make a light motion towards the woman on the wall.

"Do you want that one to die, or did you need her longer?  It doesn't have much life left in it.  Can help if you need."

She will lick her lips a bit and look wistfully out the door behind you, "Not unless you are willing to leave the big one with me?"

"He's still useful to me.  I'll keep you in mind if that changes though."

Henry will pull out the rolled parchment that has the rune Virag wrote down for him to get details about as he talks.

"Nice and quiet out here.  Remote locations are harder and harder to find these days.  Congratulations on holding the city at bay.  I'm sure the anguished wail helps keep the typical passer-by from treading too close.  Quite the interesting parameter system you have.
